It is a 4x4 with 228,000 miles. It is set up for towing as well. This truck runs and drives good. It was a daily driver before we bought our Honda.It has been sitting about a year, but still starts and runs good. It does need a little work (radio installed, one of the gauges goes crazy sometimes, tires are mismatched, etc.) but you can drive it like it is just fine. Selling my 78 Volkswagen Bug Convertible. Restoration started, but I just dont seem to have the time to get after it. New floors already done (welded, sealed, prepped and painted). Comes with only high end parts needed to complete resto (Bug Pack Total Suspension kit, CB Performance front disc brake conversion kit, Convertible Specialties top, pad and headliner (along with installation video), West Coast Metric rubber parts, Porsche 914 wheels already blasted and painted (they look like the orig sport wheels but they are 1/2\" wider which allows you to run the common 195 75R 15 tires instead of always trying to find, and pay for, those hard to find and crummy 165 tires used on Bugs), etc. I have way more than $4500 invested in the Bug and the parts. This Bug has never been in a crash, the body is all orig German, as are the dent-free bumpers. Also comes with a set of Empi style 8 spoke alloy wheels made by Eagle (USA), new rear shocks and a host of other new parts. The fuel injection system is in tact, and working great (installed a brand new Bosch fuel pump (Approx $150), new lined FI lines, sensors, Bug pack plug wires. The engine purrs. Was painted incorrectly by a previous owner. This is supposed to be the one year only Peach Red Metallic. Trunk, engine compartment, fuel door, inside fenders are all still the correct color and the orig stickers are still in tact (including the orig paint code sticker). So, heres what is left to to: Remove the remaining assorted parts off the Bug to have it professional painted the correct color and put the Bug back together. There are gong to be a few rubber parts that Im missing that youll need to purchase from West Coast Metric or Wolfsburg West, but most everything is there. I cant remember all the parts Ive collected since buying this car in 05, but its all included. I know there are several duplicate parts (I ordered parts, then forgot I ordered a part and ordered it again). If seriously interested, you need to see this Bug in person so you can see, first hand, just how good condition it is in, as well as the plethora of high-end parts that come with this. Basically, this is like those times as a kid when you used to build models, except on steroids. nothing complicated to doing this and it comes with the Bentley service manual as well. Clear title. I went to California to buy this car in 2005, but its a 49 state car, so thats great. Im sure youll have questions, so just ask. I have a 1999 Jeep grand Cherokee for sale. I am asking 6500 OBO on it. It has around 118-XXX miles on it which are mostly all highway due to it being towed behind a RV. It has power everything, a tow package, and it runs great... The heater runs and so does the AC. The interior is in great shape, including the leather seats.
