I am thinning my herd - have way too many guitars, and have decided to get rid of several good but moderately priced guitars so I can get a few more great ones. I am posting these on CL because I do not want to deal with shipping them - and I want you to be able to hold and play them. Each is a great guitar and I know once you check them out in person you will realize they are also great values. Each of these guitars is gig worthy - pro setup, and are amazing values for the $. You will not buy anything at guitar center or another music store at the same price points that will outplay these guitars. Each has been set up with .009 to .042 strings, intonated, and ready to go with a better than factory new setup. Guitar one is a blue Charvel predator. reverse headstock, 22 fret maple neck w/rosewood fingerboard, jumbo frets, jackson humbucker in the bridge and single coil in the neck. Jackson Floyd rose licensed double locking tremolo. This is from around 87, so its vintage - but plays great, very little fretwear, and in good shape for its age. Has a few dings and dents here and there, but nothing that affects playability or tone. $325. Guitar two is a red Charvel model 3A. This is a VERY nice guitar - in amazing shape, from 87 or so also. 22 fret maple neck w/rosewood board, those jumbo jackson frets, jackson humbucker in the bridge and neck. Same tremolo as the predator above. This guitar is in great shape and looks more like a 2 year old guitar than a 22 year old. You are not going to find many old Charvels in this good of shape. $400 Guitar three is a black Ibanez 570RG. H/S/H pickups. These are killer guitars in general, this one is a little better than most - it plays like butter, has a a dimarzio pickup upgrade in the bridge, and has the edge tremolo which many people prefer over the floyd rose. This is a 24 fret, flat fingerboard, modern shred guitar. I believe its from 89 or so... just an awesome guitar. To get anything like this now is known as a prestige model and will cost you more than a grand. $425 (remember, includes $89 dimarzio humbucker) Guitar four - black Steinberger Synapse from around 06 or so. Yep, its a steinberger and they are currently sold through musicians friend. $1332 list, 799 on sale. 22 frets, the classic steinberger small body (great for travel guitar) two EMG humbuckers. Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12 amp with some fantastic extras! First, casters have been securely and cleanly installed on the bottom - this thing is very heavy. Next, the stock speakers were replaced with the unmistakable Celestion Vintage 30 G12s. If youre an amp or guitar buff you know exactly what these are - classic warm and creamy sound, and they retail for $145 per speaker. Finally, all the tubes (2 6L6s and 3 12AX7s) were replaced with JJ Electronic Tubes - These are the ones that are made in the old Tesla factory in the Slovak republic using much of the original equipment. So what does a Hot Rod Deville with 2 12\" Celestion Vintage 30s and JJ/Tesla tubes sound like? Best amp Ive ever heard and owned. Beautiful Grand piano! $6500 It is a Maera brand (made by Samick), Cherry / Mahogany, gloss finish. It is beautiful. I looked forever to find this color since it was in my living room. I just didnt want black which was available everywhere. Anyway, before the player piano was taken out, the value was $14,000. I think we paid about $8500 for it about 5-6 years ago. It was only one year old then. Measures 5 at widest point and 6 at the longest point. It stands 40\" tall. Matching bench opens for storage. I have a very interesting violin for sale... I brought it to the US from Mashad, Iran about 7 years ago. At that time I was told the violin was just over 100 years old. The gentleman I purchased it from added a pick-up to it allowing it to be played over an amplifier as an electric. It sounds great, as an acoustic or electric! Its pretty old and it looks as such, but if you play the violin you know even the aged ones are very beautiful, sometimes more so! If you even think you might be interested in it Id love for you to come out and play it. You really never know how much youll love an instrument til you get to play it! Ive played the violin for about 12 years and hate to let this one go but its not my daily use violin and Im extremely short funded at the moment. this is a 1968 reissue custom shop guitar. This guitar was purchased from guitar center in 06, its an 06 model... it has the thinner 60s style neck. guitar is in near mint condition I wouldnt approve it as a collectors guitar, it has some slight markings right next to the custom shop logo on the back of the neck from where it hung at guitar centerother than that, very minor buckle rash.this has the custom shop certificate with it, and it is genuine gibson. This Violin was Handmade By Theodore (Ted) Miller. Ted Miller is a Violin Maker and Luthier who lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for many years. (he recently moved to CO) His violins are well known in Oklahoma for their beauty and sweet sounds. I bought my Miller violin in 2002 from Mr. Miller. I was the first owner of this violin. I paid 1500 dollars for it. Inside the instrument it says \"Theodore Miller 2001\"I have been very happy with this violin and love its sweet, soft, warm sound. The D string is my favorite. It seems to be extra warm and rich. The E string also has a very warm but vibrant tone. The strings I have found that I like the best on this violin are the Obligatos. (right now I have Dominant Visions on it) I have played this violin alot. And I also took it with me when I traveled (The USA, S. Korea, and Israel) So its been alot of places and has alot of memories inside it already. After my three months traveling in S. Korea the violins top seperated slightly from the side - the luthier thought this might have been caused by the extreme humidity, in S. Korea.
