This is a 1990 eclipse SOHC engine. I had the head redone and rebuilt the engine. All four brand new pistons with less than ten minutes run time on them. The machine shop that replaced the pistons got the caps mixed up so when i ran the engine for the first time it ate up the rod bearings. so the lower end will need to be redone again. I was pressed for time so rather than rebuilding this one again I just bought a complete engine to drop in. Just collecting dust now. Asking 150.00 or best offer. I am selling an engine that I bought to put in my Jeep, but have now decided to use a v8. This is a 200ci v6 from a 79 chevy malibu. It is complete carb to oil pan and comes with the hei distributer, air cleaner, flywheel, water pump, exhaust manifolds, and crank pulley. These are cool little motors that were derived from the chevy v8 and share many of their parts, not to mention the predecessor to the 4.3 chevy v6. CAN NOW FLOWBENCH TEST BIG BLOCK CHEVY HEADS I can port any make of cylinder head not just Small block Chevy. I charge a $150(extra $25 for cast iron) for a basic port job which covers gasket match of the intake and exhaust port, the bowl of the intake and exhaust port, the short side of both, and I do port the entire exhaust port. You get a flow sheet from before and after I finish porting so you know for sure how much the porting gained. If you want to get a better port job the complete port job is $250(extra $25 for cast iron)I do not touch the chambers with this job. The next step up is $350 with this port job I spend much more time on the flow bench trying to get the flow up. I can port match an intake for $30 for aluminum and $55 for cast iron. A full port job on an intake is $150, which does just about everything except add material to the manifold. If you want me to extend the runners with epoxy that porting job costs $250. I can also flow test cylinder heads. I charge $5 per cylinder you want ported. I can flow test a Small block Chevy, Small Block Ford, LS series heads, and now Big Block Chevy.
