Hope is two year old Paint breeding stock. We got her from a Awesome breeder who just didnt mess with registering her since she didnt have color. Last summer, we showed in the 2008 Tulsa Classic Summer AQHA show after I had not ridden Rocket in about a month, due to having my tonsils surgically removed and not being allowed to ride, (we were in the Hunter-Over-Fences portion) and we took home some ribbons(ie some 3rds-6ths).........I am in college though, and this summer probably wont even have time for one show due to taking summer classes. I have had Rocket for 5 years(since I was 17) and he was who taught me to jump. Also, he has never once collicked or been lame in any of the five years, or for the girl who owned him before me. He is not for an \"extreme\" beginner-he is a big 16H boy, but if you already know how to ride and want to learn basic dressage, or any kind of jumping.....he is the horse for you. He will stand for hours being bathed, clipped, groomed, etc without complaint, and loads easily. He doesnt tie though, and this is probably some psychological thing that happened to him when he was tried on the racetrack as a 2yr old. His not-tying has never been a problem for me at horseshows...we either got him a stall or he just followed me around all day kind of like a large, white dog. I am moving and MUST sell my chicken house. It is basically brand new. I had chickens in it for a very short period of time and it is VERY CLEAN.
