This wind turbine was constructed to supply electricity a pond pump in our back yard. Unluckily for me it is in a position that does not catch a lot of wind. The neighbors trees blocks nearly all of the beneficial air. The only other location it could be is across the yard. I would have to run wires to the pond, if Im doing that Im better off just running wires from the house. Our pond is in the back part of the land and needs to be aerated. I have settled on getting a solar panel to power the pump and will be building it as soon as somebody takes this wind turbine off my hands. I have an older style queen sized sleeper couch for anyone who wants it. It has been sitting in our garage for three years so it is very dusty. The dents in the couch are from our large plastic containers which have sat on it. It might take take its previous shape.It is heavy so please bring at least a couple people to help load it, me and my son will help too. The material is a woven mustard yellow and black, very 60s I think.I also have a 550 Sunbean black grill missing the knobs. It worked last time we used it. You can replace the grill slats at Home Depot or Lowes, (thye look very fried to me). My husband used to just attach a a wrench to the knob parts and adjust the flame that way.
