Share a house 7 miles north of Clarksville near Highway 21 located on 48 acres. Utilities are included with two phone lines. It has central heating and air conditioning, a washer, dryer, dishwasher. It is strictly platonic. I have references of prior female roommates. Three bedroom 2-3/4 bath plus tornado room in heated basement. The office furniture can be moved into the basement family room for kids. You will be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean. I am a slob. If you need to spend more than two hours a week cleaning, the rent will come down. My dog and cat play well with others. The deer chase my dog. It is 150 $/month. A security deposit of 150 $ would be nice. If you clean the house, I will waive the deposit and refund the 150 $ when you move out. The last woman to clean my house charged 90 $. I live here alone with the dog and cat. Were looking for someone who would like to do a little work in exchange for room and board. We have a 5 acre hobby farm near Westville Oklahoma (about 15 miles south of Siloam Springs) where we raise dairy goats, a few calves,a small garden, fruit and nut trees, grapes, etc. He (Michael) often travels on business and it would be nice to have some help for her (Patricia) while he is on the road.Heres what we are looking for;1) Comfortable with animals and willing to learn how to milk goats.2) Capable of lifting a bag of feed or a bale of hay (50-65 lbs)3) Enjoy organic gardening and willing to do some weeding, harvesting, etc.4) Interested in learning new skills (there is always something new to learn out here!5) Enjoy being in the country (we live in the boonies!!)6) No children or pets7) Not offended by smoking (he is a CONSIDERATE smoker)8) Although age is not a big concern, we do expect you to be young enough (our young at heart enough) to get the work done!9) Gender is irrelevant - Male or female - as long as you are energetic and motivated.10) MUST BE TRUSTWORTHY!! We must trust you if we are going to share our home with you.I know it sounds like a lot of work, but its really not. During the summer we spend about 2 hours per day (an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening) milking and feeding animals. Then there is usually an hour or two spent accomplishing other chores(weeding the garden, picking veggies, etc.). During the winter things slow down considerably and there is rarely more than about 45 min of chores per day.In exchange you will get your own room, meals provided (hope you like veggies, rice and the occasional steak or pot roast), all utilities paid, satellite TV and internet access. In addition, you get to hang out with a really fun (VERY young at heart) middle aged couple who have a great sense of adventure and LOTs of interesting things to talk about.If this sounds like a situation you might be interested in, drop us an e-mail. I am 22 years old and live in Roland, Ok. I only live 5 mins from Ft Smith and about 15 mins from Van Buren. My wife and I are getting divorced and I have a 1600 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. I am hoping to find someone to rent the extra bedrooms out to. I am currently setting up an above ground pool out back so on those hot days you can cool off. If you are interested please email me back and we can set up a time for you to come and take a look. It is $350.00 a room ($150 dollar deposit), or $550.00 ($300 dollar deposit) if you rent both rooms (I can get you deminsions of the rooms if you need and send pics if you want but I warn that we are still clearing one room out so it will look cluttered), plus your part of the utilities (electric & water), if you rent 1 room it would be 1/3 of the utilities, if you rent both rooms it will be 1/2 the utilities. I do not have cable right now (had to disconnect while installing the pool) but am willing to get it if you are willing to split the cost. One bedroom is completely unfurnished w/closet and the other has a closet and a built in dresser/entertainment center/desk. I have a washer and dryer, furnished kitchen, fireplace & couches in the living room, covered patio on the back porch, a large driveway (plenty of room for parking), and two car garage. Attic space for storage and a shed out back we could use for storage as well. I have a privacy fence around the back yard so you dont have neighbors looking at you while you are relaxing outback. I do have a pug but he will stay outside during the day and sleep in my room at night. I would prefer to only have male room mates but will consider all applicants. ALERT ON GAME PLAYER! If your really looking for a room in a private residence avoid this ad! It is a Motel/Sales person and after yourespond to the ad he tells you he can get you a room in a Motel andyou pay by the week! Unless you want a Motel this is a total waste ofyour time responding!
