It is a quick 5 minutes out to the bustle of the city, first meeting the charming old-town feeling of Kaimuki below, then 2 freeway exits to the rest of the city one street behind that. NO STOPLIGHTS as you go in and out of the valley in 5 minutes. The oceans of Waikiki and Diamond Head are a 10 min. roll down the hill if you let the brakes go. And then we are also in the center of 2 of the nicest shopping malls: Kahala and the huge Ala Moana Center, both 10 min. either way. LOTS OF PARKING in a safe neighborhood. Bus stop a one minute walk from house. Well-kept house with simple rules that have worked well. BEST FEATURE: The FOREST and stream outside the windows with fresh mountain air.
