I bought this rack specifically for hauling lumber and ladders on my TJ. It will hold 500 lbs ( i know it will haul more but not recommended). It will fit a full piece of plywood between the stops. I recently traded in my Jeep and have no use for it. I have all the hardware. It flips back with the removal of 2 - 3/4\" bolts on the windshield bracket. excellent for canoes. Thank you. These came off my 97 Jeep wrangler that I traded in. They have been on my Jeep since March 08 and as you can see they are wearing like iron. The crager rims are backspaced so they stick out past the fenders about 1 1/2 inches and have no rubbing on the frame. I also have a hard top with fiberglass uppers, a rack for lumber/ canoe, and a safari top/Tonto/ rain cover for sale.
