Unfortunately, we will not be able to use it this year, and it has already been booked so it is too late to \"unbook\" it. Therefore, we have decided to rent our unit out. The unit is in the Grandview at Las Vegas, right on Las Vegas Blvd. The unit is fully furnished and includes:• Fully appointed kitchen equipped with range, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee-maker, toaster, ice-maker, dishes, utensils, and microwave oven• Integrated kitchen, dining and living areas for entertaining and enjoyment• Entertainment center complete with 36\" television, DVD player, and stereo CD system• Ceramic tiled bath with walk-in shower • Spacious bedroom with king-sized bed and additional 27\" television• Queen sleeper sofa in living room... this unit sleeps 4 comfortably!!• All linens and towels provided with washer and dryer in unit• Midweek housekeeping available. This restores the unit to \"just walked in\" appearance, and fresh towels are exchanged at any time upon request. Note: you can also schedule an additional full cleaning during your stay, but there is a separate fee (approximately $50) for which you will be responsible. • Amenities at the Grandview include a heated outdoor pool with waterfall feature, poolside snack bar/sundries shop, exercise facility, game room, internet access in lobby, daily craft/activities, barbecue and picnic area, and free parking. Be aware that this \"scenic route\" takes time as the trolley stops to pick up other passengers all along the way. • There is also a city bus stop nearby. This is a great value and will take you all the way to Freemont Street in downtown Las Vegas. The downtown casinos are \"old school\" and lots of fun, plus there is an overhead light show that is a fan favorite. • Once you are on the main strip there is a tram also that services many of the main resorts and the convention center. The stops are usually well behind the entrance to the resort so you have to walk through the casino - and they hope you will stop and lose a few dollars on the way! • Taxi service is an option, and we estimate we spent about $5-$6 dollars per ride to get down to the Strip. • You can also rent a car at the airport, which is what we did when we were there. We rented a car, drove to Mandalay Bay (the beginning of the Strip) and parked, then took the TRAM everywhere or walked. If you have not tried this alternative to hotel stays, you are in for a real treat.
