Goodwill of Southern Nevada is looking for a full time Bilingual Employment Specialist. Must have a minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in employment counseling, career counseling, job development and placement. Must have experience working with persons who have barriers to employment from various socio-economic, professional and ethnic background. Barriers to employment may include having low income, limited language skills, limited education and felonies. Ideal candidate should have a dynamic and enthusiastic personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be patient, and have a high level of customer service skills. Must have the ability to fluently speak, write and translate English into Spanish. Must have the ability to work independently and in a team; work well in a fast- paced environment and have excellent organizational skills. Must have familiarity with Las Vegas valley labor market, business community, human services, and a working knowledge of disability- related issues. Solid computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Email and internet. Must undergo and pass a pre-employment, detailed background check and drug test.
