I am a single dad; I have a 7 1/2yr old girl. So I would prefer a female roommate. I have a girlfriend not looking for a hook up. I have two/three bedrooms available, Downstairs is one bedroom with a 3/4 bath (has a shower, no tub) upstairs is another bedroom and a full bath with double sinks and a loft that is14 x 14 that has been closed in and is used as a bedroom, it has central air and has its own air conditioner as well. I have a queen bed, dresser, nightstand and other stuff if you need it. Full house privileges, above ground pool in the back yard, and storage in the garage included if needed. This would be a great situation for another single parent. My current roommates (a mom and her two daughters) have been with me for almost two years and they are moving back home to Washington State, mom and one daughter left and the other daughter is moving by the end of Oct. So two rooms are available now.I dont smoke, you can in your room or outside or do 420 only outside. I dont 420, $750/mo plus split the utilities (power, gas, cable) Ill pay water, sewer and trash and high speed Internet. I am close to the I-15 and the 215 in a great neighborhood. The place is a really nice size with a shared large living room, kitchen (with dishwasher, washer, and dryer), and an area for a desk; you will have your own bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom (12 x 11 feet) has a big closet with sliding doors. And the bathroom is just right.The neighborhood is a bit drab in terms of looks, but it is safe, affordable, and a 1 minute drive or 10 minute walk from campus. There is also a parking lot where you will have a space.Water is included, but gas and electric are not. Gas runs around $70 a month in the winter and $30 in the summer. Electric can be as high as $200 a month June-September, and drops to the $60-70 range the rest of the year. Wireless internet is $15 a month to the upstairs neighbor. We will split all bills evenly.Pets are not allowed and there is no smoking inside the apt (although outside is fine and there is a tiny private side porch area).This is an ideal place for another student; but also close by if you work near the strip. It is right next to the airport as well which is very convenient. It is really a nice amount of space for 2 people, and having your own bathroom is always a plus!I am a 26 year old female graduate student at UNLV. I am pretty easy going beyond picking up after ourselves in the shared areas of the apt, and not partying in the apt 24/7 because I tend to study a lot (but mostly during the day when most people do \"real\" work...). No pets and no smoking inside the apt (although outside is fine of course...I do smoke occasionally). The couches in the living room, a couple lamps, and a microwave will stay. We will need to go in together on dishes, pots, pans and utensils (unless you have your own), and possibly a living room TV because these were my old roommates. I study and read most of the time and often work from home rather than at the office. This is an ideal, quiet place for another student. If you watch loud TV in the living room during the day (I dont really care what you do in your own room), listen to loud music a lot, want to have a lot of parties and people coming in and out, and/or are looking to permanently share your room with your significant other, this is not the place for you. I am not anal about cleanliness, but I try to keep things neat most of the time - basically, we take responsibility for our own things/mess in the shared areas of the apt. Beyond these things, I am easy to get along with and live with, and I have lived here for a year with the same roommate and its been great.
