These pick-ups are very good: 9K ohm at the neck is full and deep in tone for a lush jazz sound at low volume. At high volume it is great for growling rock chords. The bridge pup is a whopping 17K ohm resistance and it really shines with great distortion qualities on the gain channel. All the electronics have been replaced with new equipment. The volume put is a push/pull for coil splitting both pick-ups and has a treble compensation cap & resistor to maintain good treble response at lower volume and even taper. The split coils are humcancelling when both are selected, my favorite pick-up selection great for cleaner, expanded tonal range chord playing. You get a great variety of tones from these pick-up positions. All neck parameters have been excellently set up for maximum playability. Although this is a like new guitar with no fret ware the frets have been leveled (a $100 job) to get the lowest possible action and it is very comfortable. A lot of work and parts have been put in to this to make it a fine playing instrument. You will be hard pressed to come up with a better guitar at this price.
