I have a unique situation and do need to find a place for me and my family. My landlord has failed to make the mortgage payments on my rental house and it has been foreclosed. Here is my situation. I had withheld my monthly payment of 1200 for January and a portion of December because of the situation I was placed in by the landlord. He insisted that I pay, so we went to court on Monday. I was told that my lease agreement was seperate from any troubles he was having with the mortgage. But in an effort to be fair the judge ordered that I pay Decembers balance and half of January. I have since learned that by Jan. 29th the bank wants the house vacated. I am in need of a house. One of my issues right now is I only have 900.00 and will have deposits made on January 30th and i have to be out by then. My credit is bad. My income I can show by bank statement. I can provide you with rental history in Las Vegas with good history. Now here is the unique situation. I am in school and have only six months left to finish my degree. Because of projects and an unpaid internship, I only have a part time job. However, My ex-husband and my mother agreed in June to ensure that my bills are paid and regularly deposit money in my account to cover my bills, rent etc. so that I can complete my degree. I can prove this by bank statements as well as any communication written or verbal you may need from the two of them. I am an honest person who raises honest children, we are a good family and cause no trouble. I am only trying to make sure we have a decent place to live. I completely understand how one might have concerns with renting under these circumstances but I feel it is better to be open about the situation rather than falsify the circumstances in an effort to obtain a home. I have two teenage sons and two elementary aged daughters so I need at least a three bedroom in North Las Vegas, I would like to keep them in their current schools.
