It turns out that it was overloaded at one time. The engine on the generator is in excellent condition but the stator needs to be replaced. I am posting it for sale in the hopes that someone that repairs them might want to buy it to fix it and do what you wish with it. I have 2 antique lathes that I am trying to sell. First is a Lodge and Shipley lathe that is a monster. It is about 13 feet long and has 9ft between centers. It will spin about 17in. diameter. has a 16 in 4 jaw chuck installed and a few pieces of tooling and a 3 hp motor. Needs a little tlc to get it going but is very unique and rare. Second is a Greaves and Klusman lathe . It is about 7.5 ft long and 4.5 ft between centers. It has a 1.5 hp motor installed and is wired for 220 volts. It should be fairly easy to get going.
