Specific Job DescriptionAs the senior Information Assurance Engineer candidate will be supporting 4 sites and multiple task orders across the program. Primary interface to the government IA office. Mentor three IA engineers who support the programApplicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Standard Job DescriptionProvides security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance.Required skillsSubject Matter Expert in Information Assurance and government requirements. Demonstrated ability to Deliver Results - understand and work IA issues effectively in a full hardware/software development life-cycle. Demonstrated ability to Build Effective Relationships – Fostering integration within IPTs. Work with the EDS 2006 program office, SOC IPT, MMSOC IPT, SRS IPT, and other development and sustainment TO IPTs in developing BOEs, plans and schedules for IA efforts. Coordinate and provide IA direction on tasking and priorities within the IPT. Demonstrated ability to operate with little direction in an offsite environment. Demonstrated, outstanding internal and external customer relation skills.
