I have a Sony Vaio for sale. I bought it about 8 months ago, formatted the disk, and re-loaded Windows XP onto the hard drive. I was happy with the way the computer was running and I then put it on the shelf. That is where it has been sitting until yesterday. I pulled it off the shelf, plugged it in, the lights came on, but no one was home. It seems to me that the drive is not getting power, but that is not a guarantee. I do not honestly know what is wrong with it and I don't know enough about laptops to open it up and see what might be wrong with it. Seeing how I had no need for it for almost 8 months, I realize that I already spent too much money on it and I can't justify spending any more on it just to be a dust collector.
