We are looking for two Sr. Mechanical Engineers - 1) Structures - high stress frame and truss analysis, and 2) Aerospace - high temperature thermal analysis of structures and life estimation for a client in central New Mexico.Title: Senior Mechanical EngineersCompensation: The base salaries are open, though we are targeting $75-110,000 with full benefits and relocation assistance.Position 1 (thermal): MS/BS Mechanical - Aerospace Engineering with strong skills in mechanical design with design experience involving heat exchangers, high temperature alloys, corrosion resistant metals, and ceramics. Understanding of basic materials and applications in engines, including steel, various alloys, aluminum, iron castings, forgings, seals, elastomers, polymers, etc. Pluses: Experience with reciprocating engines and-or gas turbines. 3D solids modeling tools such as Unigraphics/NX or SolidWorks. Knowledge of the best practices for fatigue, fracture mechanics and creep life analysis.Position 2 (structures): MS/BS Mechanical - Aerospace Engineering skilled in the mechanical and structural design of high stress frame and truss assemblies for harsh, adverse outdoor environments. Knowledge of the static and dynamic design considerations given to wind and seismic conditions. Basic materials knowledge to include steel, aluminum, glass, plastics and adhesives. knowledge of manufacturing processes that include. metal cutting, forming, welding, fastening, joining and assembly. Specific Job DescriptionAs the senior Information Assurance Engineer candidate will be supporting 4 sites and multiple task orders across the program. Primary interface to the government IA office. Mentor three IA engineers who support the programApplicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Standard Job DescriptionProvides security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security designs; implements security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verifies security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and supports secure systems operations and maintenance.Required skillsSubject Matter Expert in Information Assurance and government requirements. Demonstrated ability to Deliver Results - understand and work IA issues effectively in a full hardware/software development life-cycle. Demonstrated ability to Build Effective Relationships – Fostering integration within IPTs. Work with the EDS 2006 program office, SOC IPT, MMSOC IPT, SRS IPT, and other development and sustainment TO IPTs in developing BOEs, plans and schedules for IA efforts. Coordinate and provide IA direction on tasking and priorities within the IPT. Demonstrated ability to operate with little direction in an offsite environment. Demonstrated, outstanding internal and external customer relation skills. Demonstrated ability to energize the IA team to meet critical customer milestones.Security Clearance SecretTypical MinimumsBachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
