XxxxxxxxxxI am renting a space that is connected to but separate from the rest of the house in that I have a door blocked and locked to the rental area. The house is near Coors and Montano on the west side of Albuq. It is on the 2nd floor of my home and I installed a separate outside staircase entrance. It is really big for a master bedroom for this size of home. The total size of the master is 20 x 28 for just under 600 sf. Included in this is a main room of about 20 x 18 or so with large windows and a fireplace. Looking out the windows are tall (30-40 ft) pine trees so it really has a good mountain feel from the room. Attached and open to but off to the side is an open dressing area, a sink and vanity, full bathroom , and a walk in closet. There is a second closet which has been turned into a kitchennette with a 4 foot refrig/freezer, double hot plate and a small counter and small sink, a microwave and nice pizza sized toaster oven. There is an old armoire with 3 drawers and I could provide a few other eclectic items from chairs to tables . The house is across the street from a park with basketball courts and play areas and about 5-10 min away from pool, tennis courts, dog park and library, walgreens, raleys grocery store a variety of restaruants and fast food, the river and 3 westside bridges , shopping malls, theaters, and a bus line is 2 blocks away and a bike path starts and continues along montano road to the river and downtown/bio park and all around albuq. CNM/UNM is about 20 minutes away and at rush hour probably 30 min. The new west side CNM campus is about 5 min away. It is in a nice older area of town (about 30 years for the neighborhood---mature trees and larger lots than new homes) so the yards are decent size and there is a barbeque grill and firewood Electricity and water and gas are included intil it gets cold. Then a portion of utilities for the winter months. . Also the fireplace works. You would need a cell phone.. I am asking 600 a month and need a deposit of $400 and don’t mind taking that in payments. Oh—prefer no smoking and no pets, no criminal backgrounds. As for me--I am laid back, no drama kind of guy. I have a daughter that is with me sometimes but generally the house is pretty quiet--no big parties or anything and very quiet after 10 or 11 pm or so--althought usually quiet anyway.
