Was used for about a year. Then removed for a remodel and the original owner didnt want it re-installed. The awning is in great shape, no tears in the material. Utilizes a manual crank out system, not motorized, but extends and retracts quickly when mounted, includes the mounting brackets and has a crank handle made from rebar. The original one was made out of thin cheap metal, have the original one if you want to repair it, but the rebar one works fine. It is very heavy. Original cost was over a $1,000.00, just needs a little cleaning up, install it and it is ready to use and have some shade. Get it before I decide to put it on my house. Matching set bought 2004 and usage has been below average to average. Great for a large family. They work wonderfully and are quiet. Washers water usage is automatic so it uses only what it needs. The dryer stops when clothes are dry, it doesn’t cook them. They save money on water, electric and soap. They do not have the riser drawers. I have both manuals. This unit served my grandfather well, as he had macular degeneration. It was purchased new in 04 from Southwest Low Vision at a cost of over $2,500.00 in 04, I am sure they have gone up. This is in excellent condition, works perfect with color 14\" CRT monitor, tray works like a microfishe reader with auto focus. He used it for writing checks, reading books, newspapers, bills, etc. You can also hook this system up to a larger screen, has a video out jack on the back. This is also excellent for anybody with other vision issues, cataracts, glaucoma, retinutis pigmentosa and diabetes.
