| Director Finance or Sr. Financial ControllerPrincipal Requirements: The Director of Finance manages the financial functions of WONIK Quartz Internationals North America business region. Plan, organize, and control all accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, collection, payroll, purchasing and tax activities. Assure accurate accounting and reporting of financial transactions and related analysis; alert management to trends and problems. Participate in the preparation of business plans and provide financial evaluation and interpretation of alternatives. Prepare operating and capital budgets; report and analyze performance against same. Implement and administer corporate credit, collection, and tax preparation policies. Assure protection of the companys assets. Provide timely reports as required to corporate management. Devise and manage cost control measures to ensure profitability. Manage account receivable and account payable functions. Creates and monitors performance metrics.Nature and Scope: The individual works within a framework of established company accounting policies and practices. In this role he/she provides information and advice on the financial performance of the business. The individual is expected to provide the controls and information required by the COO and also provides the financial performance information essential for the Corporate Executive and management personnel.Background/Skills:BS in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience required. CPA required. 8 - 10 years experience in public accounting and/or private audit firm required. Operational accounting and/or Financial Reporting experience desirable. Manufacturing industry experience preferred. Ability to communicate with varying levels of personnel and people in various functional areas. Ability to absorb new operational and functional knowledge quickly. Effective organization and time management skills. Must have a strong understanding of US GAAP. Must have excellent written and oral English communication skills (bi-lingual in Korean a plus). Must demonstrate great attention to detail. Prior experience in assisting with SOX compliance efforts is necessary. A self-motivator who has a strong ability to work independently and is able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have excellent interpersonal skills as this position will work closely with our Korean corporate headquarters. Must have sufficient Excel modeling skills. | Formed in 1989, the New Mexico Community Development Loan Fund (The Loan Fund) is a private, tax-exempt organization that provides loans, training and business consulting to business owners and non-profit organizations throughout the state and the entire Navajo Nation. The Portfolio Administrator / Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of loan account payments, the entry, maintenance and reporting of data in the portfolio management software, and generation of accounting reports for loss reserve adjustments and portfolio performance. He/she is also the key person responsible for contact and follow up with those clients whose accounts are delinquent and serves as clerical/administrative support to the lending staff. Key responsibilities & duties include but are not limited to: Portfolio Administration: Process/post loan payments in portfolio software, Portfol; make bank deposits. Enter/update account data in Portfol. Produce accounting, delinquency and other reports on portfolio/account status. Invoice customers regularly, respond to inquiries for account status and payoffs. Monitor and maintain accuracy of accounts on continual basis. Assist in developing improved processes and systems for record-keeping & data entry. Delinquency Management: Contact all delinquent accounts by mail/phone according to policy guidelines. Document contacts according to policy and follow up with Lending staff as needed. If necessary, contact attorney and coordinate legal process for recovery. Loan Processing: Prepare loan documents and oversee collection of post closing reporting requirements, i.e. insurance, financials, job creation, etc. Responsible for quality control and security of loan files; ensure file accuracy, completeness and the effectively secured interests of the organization. Close files on paid accounts. Submit/maintain UCC filings, MVD title liens, etc, as assigned by Lending staff. Provide varied support as needed to the Lending staff. Reporting: Design queries of Porfol data using PortQ, an MS Access program. Work closely with staff to design and produce statistical/analytical reports on portfolio activity, customer demographics, and other impact measurements. Customer Service: Provide assistance to clients at all levels financial literacy over the telephone and in person. Provide assistance to staff on projects as needed.
