I am selliing a 1999 200 OptiMax 25 inch engine. 200CXL Serial#-OG913167Dealer maintained with compression readings all within Mercury specs and done at dealer:I purchased the pair to use on my Regulator but decided to use one on a Parker therefore I have the other engine for sale. The lower unit has a new water pump and the compressor ($1200) was replaced right before I bought the engines from the dealer. The alternator is brand new as well. Paint is in excellent condition with no rust. The engines were cranked on the flusher, run to operating temp and then compression readings taken by the dealer with me present. The engine has been stored in my garage since then which was 9 months ago with Opti oil in each spark plug hole. Engines were sold new by dealer to a banker that cruised on the weekends. No slow trolling ever done with the engines. These engines get better fuel mileage than a 4 Stroke and this engine has had all the major components recently replaced.This year model was a good one for Mercury. The 2000-2003 models were the ones they had some issues with as they were Digital and there were problems with the Electronic Control Module (ECM) that this model never had because these engines are analog. Engine cowling does not go with engine. The 200 cowling was at my storage place when I took the pictures. It is a 200 Opti MaxPrice includes oil tank and oil hose,and wire harness/key switch. This 1991 Cobia Monte Carlo 198 ES is not your usual 1991 boat! The stringers, floor, motor mounts, and transom were replaced in 2003 by Auto Marine Boat Repairs in Garner. The structure of this boat is SOLID! Most 19 year old boat arent! In 2007 the original Mercruiser Alpha 1 stern drive was badly damaged by a \"fishing line accident\", and was replaced by a completely new Sterndrive Engineering, Inc. SE 116 unit. The engine is a Mercruiser (Chevy) 305 c.i. V-8 with an Edelbrock Performer 600 cfm marine 4 barrel carburetor and Performer intake manifold (installed in 2003), replacing the 2 barrel Rochester stock P.O.S.carb (extra 40 hp!) The engine has less than 300 hours on it. Full instrumentation plus hour-meter. Fresh oil change in engine and outdrive in April 2009. Two props: a 4 blade 18\" pitch (power-prop!) and a 3 blade 21\" pitch (for normal ski and cruise). The trailer is a 2 wheel (bearing buddies), galvanized, 1991 CC Rider with carpeted runners. This deep-vee hull boat is a skiers delight! Great hole-shot, turns on a dime, rides very nice in chop, and has power-steering for easy driving. Swim platform built into the boat with a boarding ladder and grab-bar. In-floor and under seat storage. New battery in fall 2008 (stored inside last winter). Fuel tank is 38 gallons (cleaned in 2003). All fuel lines replaced in 2003. 1996 Kawasaki 1100 ZXI jet ski with 3 cylinder 120HP 2-stroke engine. Title is in hand. Jet ski ran last summer but needs rebuilt carbs. I am selliing a 1999 200 OptiMax 25 inch engine. 200CXL Serial#-OG913167Dealer maintained with compression readings all within Mercury specs and done at dealer:I purchased the pair to use on my Regulator but decided to use one on a Parker therefore I have the other engine for sale. The lower unit has a new water pump and the compressor ($1200) was replaced right before I bought the engines from the dealer. The alternator is brand new as well. Paint is in excellent condition with no rust. The engines were cranked on the flusher, run to operating temp and then compression readings taken by the dealer with me present. The engine has been stored in my garage since then which was 9 months ago with Opti oil in each spark plug hole. Engines were sold new by dealer to a banker that cruised on the weekends. No slow trolling ever done with the engines. These engines get better fuel mileage than a 4 Stroke and this engine has had all the major components recently replaced.Price includes oil tank and oil hose,and wire harness/key switch.
