This truck is mostly complete. The only part I know for sure that is missing may be part of the oil bath aircleaner. The 248 cubic inch 6 cylinder is not running. The valve cover was off and the floor boards removed when I got it. Cab has some dents; but, no rust I could see on the outside. The access panel on the drivers door botom has some corrosion from mud sitting in the bottom of the door. The grill and hood emblem shine nicely. Truck is the 353 model with 161 inch wheelbase. It has a 4 speed with a two speed rear end. The bed is of real heavy duty construction. Frame is steel I beams running the length of the frame and then I beams across those. Wood deck is rotten. These are popular to restore or to put the cab on late model running gear. They are rare; but, when listed on the internet they are often in the $2500 to $3500 range. 1942 Ford / Mercury 5 window 2 door coupe: Hi there, here we have a streetrod in progress the frame is complete with mustang II rack & pinon new power steering rack,tubular a arms, chevy 5 on 4 3/4 rotors, rear chevy 1999 S-10 rearend 5 on 4 3/4 drums,with ladder bars and coil set up. Front frame has been sectioned and lowered 4 inches. Its set up for chevy small block and a 700r4 tranny all tubular mounts. The brakes, power assist mastercylinder is all set up and functional. Exhaust is run, along with fuel lines and power cables for the battery to be mounted in the trunk. I was going to put a camaro tune port engine in it so thats what its all set up for. I have a really nice set of seats front buckets and rear out of a 2006 pontiac G6 along with the automatic console. The steering is all set up and functional using a chevy camaro 88-92 tilt steering column. The fire wall is a 14 gauge 3 inch recess with all new floorboards, tunnel and custom built dash with all autometer procomp gauges to go into it!. The rear is tubbed and some sheetmetal work will be needed to finnish the back up. It will go with a 22 gallon fuel cell, Power window kit, new chrome fender trim, lower rocker chrome trim, custom built aluminum radiator, All tinted glass (new) front seemless molded windsheild worth $500 its self! Also rear decklid gas shock actuated kit, frenched head light kit w/ head lights, and rear air shocks. The front clip is a 46 ford, dont know what happend to the original 42? The 46 is a better look and it bolts,fits just the same! I do have all the chrome for the 46 ford grill. The rims and tires are 17 inch billet specialties Pollished aluminum $3500 new.
