We are looking for the right people to share this piece of Montana living. Because this rental is located on the end of a finger ridge; therefore, there is no traffic driving by. The neighboring 20 acres is bare land not owned by us. The next set of neighbors are all living on 20 acres parcels with private homes, and these homes are spread out. The rental is year round, and could be long term. We are looking for at least a year contract, but hoping for two. In terms of interior pics…not really. It has log accents, but has smooth walls painted in rich and warm colors (brick red, terra cotta, a nice yellow). The bedroom is painted in a sage. The curtains are patterned, and flow nicely with the paint. The Stairs to the bedroom are a bit steep, but beautiful wood with a lodge pole railing. There are many windows and canopy ceilings. The kitchen is big, with lots of windows in the dining area, looking out over the mountains. There is not garage, and limited storage space. There is a large basement; however, it can get damp in areas, so we stored select items. The basement does have a great window, so a good space parts of the year for a work bench. In terms of lawn care, that would be the renters deal. The only area that is nice to care for is the immidiate land around the house (about a quarter to half acre). We just mowed and cleaned up the place so it looks great. The grasses are native and weeds, not as fast growing as your typical green lawn. The land also has beautiful sagebrush, rocks, and pine trees. The road that approaches the place is paved for the first 7 miles, and dirt for the remaining two. The last quarter mile of road (along the figer ridge) can get ruttered during the spring, and requires 4 wheel drive. There are currently renters in it until sometime between June 10th and July 10th (that is the flexibility).No horses please.Schedule your appointment soon!
