Established, single discipline (electrical) consulting engineering company is expanding services to include mechanical engineering and is seeking a senior mechanical engineer for a full time, permanent position. The successful candidate must have experience in the design and construction phase services of a variety of project types (higher education, medical facilities, large scale commercial, historic renovation, federal, etc.), as well as client relations experience.Your Duties Responsible for coordinating all aspects of mechanical engineering projects. Establish project scopes; produce mechanical budgets; prepare feasibility studies; evaluate energy conservation measures using computer simulations; design HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems. Directly participate in and supervise the preparation of construction drawings and specifications. Manage concurrent projects. Coordinate technical and administrative activities with other design team disciplines. Market mechanical engineering services to clients.What You Offer Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Current registration as a professional engineer in good standing. If not registered in Montana, registration by comity will be required. A history of ten or more years of progressive, professional work experience. Effective verbal and written communications skills. LEEDŽ AP credential (desirable). Commissioning experience (desirable). Working knowledge of the following codes: IBC, IMC, IECC, UBC, UMC, ASHRAE 90.1, and pertinent NFPA. Strong Autodesk AutoCAD MEP and Microsoft Office skills.
