Pay rate up to $85/hr depending on experience**US citizenship is required, because this client is a defense contractorOur client is looking for 5 User Interface engineers who will be responsible for designing and enhancing a web-based application for an award winning personal satellite messenger device for a company in Milpitas, CA. (onsite)JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Previous experience designing international based web systems. - Must be able to carry out visual design work under the direction of a Lead, produce excellent deliverables, and communicate clearly with all members of the team. - Must be senior-level performer with the ability to work independently. - Responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation and will work closely with the quality assurance team. - Develop appropriate solutions to requests for new services and functionality. REQUIRED SKILLS: - 6+ years of commercial IT and Client side experience - 12+ months of Java Server Faces or Oracle ADF faces (MyFaces Trinidad) experience. Must also have hands-on experience supporting internationalization with these toolkits. - 12+ months of SOA and Web Services experience - Strong Java programming skills and experience with JSP, XML, XSL, CSS, SQL & Oracle DESIRED SKILLS: - Must possess a broad knowledge of information architecture and interaction design principles as well as usability and UI design - Be able to create rapid iterations of visual and/or storyboard concepts and has a solid understanding of the potential of HTML/DHTML and CSS (as well as deep knowledge of current web technology opportunities and limitations) A portfolio of previous design work demonstrating their customer-facing designs would be a plus.
