Hi,We are thinking of moving to Bozeman and would like to come this summer to check out the town, etc. We currently live in San Diego, CA.Were looking to trade houses for a couple weeks sometime during late June or July. We live in a 1920s 3BR, 1B house in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego which is on the North-Eastern corner of Balboa Park. We are minutes from the famous San Diego zoo and all the other attractions in Balboa Park. We are also close to the numerous beaches and downtown. Other attractions, depending on your interests, would include the ball park where the Padres play, the Wild Animal Park, Legoland and Seaworld, and Tijuana, all of which are less than 1/2 hour away.If youre a climbing type, we are about 2.5 hours from Joshua Tree, which makes for nice weekends there.Our house is small but comfortable. We have three young daughters, so a house which is appropriate for kids is a must. We have a large, fenced back yard with some fig trees great for climbing. There is a Farmers market right up the street on Thursday evenings, the best pizza in the city only blocks away and numerous restaurants within walking distance.Please contact me if you might be interested in a vacation trade. Looking to trade my property just outside of Hershey, PA for a home with or without acreage in or around Billings, MT.We have used this property as a weekend and vacation home.This property borders the Swatara Creek (a central PA recreational waterway), the Manada Conservancy (5 acres of natural habitat that will never be able to be developed) and the other two sides of the property are bordered by agriculturally zoned land that is restricted from development. You cant see any of the neighbors from the location of the main home or the cottage.A little about the property. The main house is three stories - ground level is three car tucked garage with area for some woodworking, storage, etc. The second two floors are all living area (2100 +/- sq ft). Living, dining, kitchen all surround a central gas fireplace that is open to the living room and kitchen. Fireplace is all rock. The bathroom on the main level is very large with separate tub and shower. Many built ins and a custom oak kitchen. A wall of windows adorns the southeast side of the home overlooking the creek and acreage that can never be developed. The bedrooms are located on the top floor with a very large bathroom (double vanity, separate shower, whirlpool tub) and laundry. One of the bedrooms could be divided to make into two bedrooms should the owner desire. This home is located within the Swatara Creek floodplain, but was rebuilt in 1998 to FEMA standards and approved to remain in the area. The property has a boat ramp.The cottage is ready for someone to renovate. It has approximately 1100 sq ft to finish to your liking. The property is completely gutted with the main floor having the ability to have an open floor plan and the second floor has a sliding glass door opening to the deck. This property also has a boat ramp and completely borders the Swatara Conservancy (along the old Union Canal - still visible) and the Swatara Creek,.There is also a 1/4 acre piece of property that sits between the main house and cottage that is included.
