Become part of the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks team. This position supervises the departments accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, cashiering sections and internal control auditor. Includes reviewing and approving related accounting documents and providing direct supervision of the section supervisors. Other duties include providing financial information to management, working as the department liaison with federal and state auditors, and performing monthly and year-end reviews of the general ledger to identify unusual balances. In addition, the position is involved in many special projects involving research and analysis of financial data and transactions, and conclusions based upon acceptable governmental accounting principles.
