I have a very loving 4 year old bay mare, she is about 15and1 hands she comes and catches very easily, round pens, saddles without being tied, trailers, good with her front feet needs work with back feet, has been an awesome horse never bucked or kicked. she has became very trusting and loves to be rubbed. She is a great pony horse and would make an outstanding pack horse. I have had tarps on her back with no problem. I think there are five chicks per breed available, and they are sexed hens with a 95% accuracy.Golden Spangled Hamburg: Hamburgs a an actice Dutch breed that are very capable of finding most of their diet through foraging. The hens weigh about four pounds when fully grown. They are known as the \"Dutch every day layer\", and with good reason because for most of the year each hen will lay a medium white egg each day. The golden variety presents an orange bird with a large black dot on the end of each feather. They are rose combed. Top left picture is of golden chicks. 1973 Hanvover GN horse/stock trailer. The floor space inside is 20 ft then you have the overhang to store your tack or whatever. It has 2 dividers so you can have 3 separate compartments. This trailer will not win a beauty contest but it is a nice solid older trailer that still has lots of use left in it. It pulls as nice or better than my Exiss 4 horse trailer. They are extremely disease resistant (rarely get mastitis, foot rot, and many other common sheep ailments) Being from the desert, they are able to survive on almost nothing and will often choose to eat brush, weeds, and cactus over pasture grass! They also produce a lot of long stapled wool that is prized by hand spinners and weavers everywhere. They also come in many natural colors so dying is not usually necessary. They are also very maternal and produce plenty of milk for their lambs. They can also be milked to provide you with cheeses, soaps, and other goodies. They also have a very lean carcass and sweet tasting meat. Below are descriptions of my remaining 2009 lambs, and I must say this lamb crop is one of the best I have ever had. Steele, as we call him, is a stunning grey gelding. Grade 9 year old, 14.2 solid, and well muscled. He is well broke, neck reigns, backs well, ties, loads, and is great with his feet. Steele is our 9 year old sons horse. We purchased Steele from a Montana rancher where he was used to move cows, ranch work, and trail riding. They purchased him from the Weller Ranch. Steele was featured in a Weller Ranch article/picture in Western Horseman. He has a good disposition and is easy to handle. Hes current on all shots and had his teeth floated Fall 2008.
