I have an old Sansui Stereo Amplifier, imported from germany way back in the 60s or 70s. It worked very well, and sounded fabulous up until a little while ago. There is some sort of fuzz/crackle in the sound output, and I am positive it is not the speakers i had hooked up. I dont want it to go to a landfill, as I know ppl collect this stuff and fix it, etc. It is has two sets of speaker hookups, several aux inputs, and a few different tape outputs. I hate to part with it, let alone chuck it to a landfill. I believe it uses tubes. If you feel you can do something with it, its yours. Laserwriter Select 310 printer. Purchased new in 1994. Works fine, but does not interface with newer macintosh computers. Uses a mac cable to plug into the computer that is called a mini-DIN 8-pin peripheral cable. It is included with the computer as is the manual and a K-Span cable that I thought might work. I believe the main difficulty is finding the appropriate driver for newer computers, as the K-span cable will mate to newer computers (it is a USB cable). I have some random stuff that is free!**Desk Chair - Yep, its broken. BUT, its broken at the joint where it was welded together (otherwise it has no problems), so if you have the supplies and know-how to fix that, youve got yourself a free desk chair! Its technically still usable right now, but you cant make any sudden moves or you go flying onto the floor. Hehe. **Stereo without speakers - This is a really nice stereo with lots of buttons and switches that I never knew how to use anyway. The CD player only works sporadically but it has a double tape deck that works and so does the radio. **Stereo with speakers - The radio is the only thing that works right now. If you know how to fix things you might be able to get the CD player and tape deck to work. Would be a great stereo for the garage or workshop, where you usually just listen to the radio anyway. Cant beat the price!**Socks - Yes, I know it sounds strange, but thanks to the dryer we have wound up with a bag full of mismatched socks. I know my dad used to use those type of things for rags around the garage, or you could have a crafty day with your kids and make sock puppets! I have a hard time throwing away things like this, so if you think you can use them for something, PLEASE take them! There are also a few fun colors in there like blue and purple. If you know of a place in MT that recycles cotton let me know! This older house has been sitting up on blocks off the ground for about twenty years. The building was here when we purchased the property in Oct 08.It was moved here from some other location. It had been used for storage. The livingroom, bedrooms flooring is oak, There is a corner hutch & corner shelf stand plus some kitchen cabinets, old windows & door. No appliances,two old gas wall furnaces. Floor joists look like rough cut fir, 2X10s or 12s. I havent looked at the attic area but would assume that its the same rough cut, dry, lumber make up. Outside is stucco material. This could be a good fixer upper project or a lot of dry, rough cut wood salvage job.
