This antique cerograph designed by cartographers George Cram & Company in 1899 and printed using engraved steel-plates. Map comes with a certificate of authenticity. Nice extra-large size: 14.5 inches x 11.1 inches. Perfect for framing. Also comes with an original 1902 index of towns and populations. Great for genealogists. No scammers, please dont waste my time.The first rug is circa 1950, Artist unknown, 36\" x 61\" This rug falls into a category referred to as \"The general rug\", wheras its color, design and quality does not distinguish it as from a particular locale. It has a Wide Ruins and Crystal flavor becasuse it does not have any border designs which is usually a telltale sign of these two regions. The design is interlocking diamonds in brown, grey, tan and natural colors of vegetal dyed sheep wool. The condition of the rug is excellent. Appraisal Value $1500.00 Asking $1100.00 oboThe second rug is 1940 or newer, Artist unknown, 21\"x 42\" This is a Navajo-Two Grey Hills area rug. All of the yarn used is analine dyed. The colors are unique to the Two Grey Hills style. This is a fair weaving, probably by a young Navajo artist, there is a moth eaten spot in the middle but did not create a hole in the rug. Still a very beautiful rug. This is a set of three hand-painted plates that are about 100 years old. They are all hand painted, from the day when that was a popular hobby, and unsigned. Im sorry about the pictures--they arent the best. These really are pretty, delicate; would make a great display and deserve a home where they can be shown off, and you can imagine the life of the unknown woman who painted them 100 years ago. This milk glass plate was made by Westmoreland in about 1901. These plates were made as souvenirs for several different worlds fairs and exhibitions. The two best pieces are receipts from the First National Bank of Helena, dated August 13 and August 6, 1868. One is for 24.93 from Tom. C. Porrir (I think, the writings hard to read). The other is for $26.00 by Cole Saunders. These are original although I cant guarantee who actually filled them out and signed them. The other really neat piece is an 1894 city business license receipt to Tampkin and Kohlchiff (sp.? again, difficult handwriting) for a gambling room license. (This is from Virginia City but youll have to take my word for it unless you research and find the names.) This bunch of stuff also includes a Jefferson County certificate of location, 1912, for the Black Diamond mine; a receipt from the City Shoeing Shop and Carriage Works of Anaconda, 1929; a blotter from Elderkin Realty of Butte which doesnt have a year, a card from the Kennedy Hotel on East Front Street (steam heat, hot and cold running water), and some Butte union papers (receipts, laundry workers membership card, a letter). I’m selling this German made Hubert Herr Cuckoo clock. It’s about 14 inches tall and 11 inches wide. This clock has just been disassembled, cleaned and oiled and now it’s ready for years of service.
