This ring was taken from my home in early June of 2008, almost one year ago. Its my LATE MOTHERS WEDDING RING!!! He had almost a full carat diamond in the center, over 3/4s and ~7/8 carat.It has HUGE arthritis bar shanks which makes it one of a kind. It also had a small carbon spot in it that could only be seen with 10 magnification. I didnt file a police report for 3 months hoping that if I put the word out that it was my dead mothers wedding ring, that person would have enough integrity that they would bring it back. It was brought back and put into the ashtray of my car!!!! Only the large diamond was one and it was replaced with a much smaller diamond.I am offering $1000 reward for a copy of a receipt or signature. No questions asked and no liability for the person that bought the larger stone or set the smaller one. Please look at photo with BEFORE AND AFTER picture. I simulated the size of the diamond and what the ring looked like before. I have Trust papers saying it was 3/4 carat but I remember my mother saying it was either .78 or .87 carat and over 3/4s. This was a $6,000 diamond and replaced with a 1/2 carat appraised at $1,500. Its not about the money, or the size of the diamond but my memory of my mother wearing this ring for 47 years and I want the stone my father bought her! I will buy it back!Please see photo.
