I have an extra 14Bolt FF from a 1981 3/4 ton (so the spring perches match a 1/2 ton truck) and its a 4:10 gear set with an open diff (so you can drop a Detroit in it). The brakes/hubs are from a one ton so you get the bigger drums (both pads and drum surfaces look good) and you get the larger lug nut studs. All bearings spin and feel good. You will need to re-torque the axle shaft bolts seal the cover and fill the diff with fluid. This is a long block engine recently rebuilt. It was all done in town here at ICM. Its got e7 heads (best production cast iron), little bit of a cam I believe its a 268. Im estimating 270hp. I sold the car I was gonna put it in, and thought I was gonnna get another but never got around to it. I also have the full gasket kit, lifters and oil pump. Its never been fired up, the cam still has the greasy break in lube on it, so it obviously will need broken in.
