Here is a nearly new Paul Reed Smith SE Custom Semi Hollow guitar that I purchased new two months ago from Muscians Friend for $715 (retail is $1095). This is a great playing, great sounding guitar. Excellent build quality and solid components make these SE's stand out from the crowd. Wonderful fret work that stands up to the PRS name. This is in the discontinued Teal flame top. From the website: The SE Custom Semi-Hollow has the same basic appointments as the SE Custom - mahogany back, maple top, 22-fret wide-fat mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and SE humbucking pickups. The mahogany body has a "canoe carve" with hollow wings and solid mahogany in the center from the tailpiece to the neck join. The addition of a hollow chamber and modern sound hole give it a musical midrange and internal reverb, making it a very light, comfortable, and versatile electric guitar.
