1967 Barclay Guitar MADE IN USA
The pots are mini-CTS (code 137 pots) and date to 1966 -- the jack is Switchcraft
The pickguard has a date of June 19th, 1967 and notation that it was manufactured by Rowe Industries
Bolt-neck, two pickups, rosewood bridge, vibrato tailpiece
Candy apple red finish
These guitars were made by (or next to on the assembly line) Harmony -- I had a two-tone sunburst Harmony version that I sold three years ago on eBay for $325; this model has some minor issues, so I am selling it for less
The nut is slightly off center as the guitar was not built quite right at the factory -- it plays fine with its current setup
The tuners need to be lubricated or replaced; they move (and the guitar is in tune), but some are very tight and need a string-winder to assist
The NECK tone knob is missing; it also makes whatever amp you are plugged into sound "blown" when you roll off the treble...I cannot explain why it does this
