Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12 amp with some fantastic extras! First, casters have been securely and cleanly installed on the bottom - this thing is very heavy. Next, the stock speakers were replaced with the unmistakable Celestion Vintage 30 G12's. If you're an amp or guitar buff you know exactly what these are - classic warm and creamy sound, and they retail for $145 per speaker. Finally, all the tubes (2 6L6's and 3 12AX7's) were replaced with JJ Electronic Tubes - These are the ones that are made in the old Tesla factory in the Slovak republic using much of the original equipment. So what does a Hot Rod Deville with 2 12" Celestion Vintage 30's and JJ/Tesla tubes sound like? Best amp I've ever heard and owned. Play through it and you'll fall in love. Amp is clean, grill is great, the black tolex has a few minor scuffs but it's still a beauty. One of the input jacks needs a new screw on nut and collar. Pretty sure you can get these online for about 5 bucks if you want to mess with it - the jack still works great. Check out one of the pictures to see what I mean about the jack. Also comes with a Fender cover and footswitch with cord, and I'll even throw in a folding adjustable height kick-back stand. Retails for $998, and that's with stock Fender speakers and stock tubes.
