This is a great sounding Vito alto saxophone. This horn was made by Yamaha which makes some of the best horns on the market. This saxophone is comparable to the Yamaha YAS-23 model which retails for 1,675. I have been playing saxophone for nine years and started on this sax. I am currently attending one of the top jazz colleges in the country and decided to sell this saxophone while I am home over the summer as I don't use it anymore. I have stayed with Yamaha horns because of their reliability and great construction and I now play a professional model Yamaha. The horn has some scratches and lacquer worn off but this is purely cosmetic. It does not affect the sound at all. You won't find a better sounding horn for this price. Also included is a Yamaha contoured case ($150 retail). This is a great saxophone for a beginning or intermediate player.
