This set is wired up to a Reverse Control Plate Assembly from the Fender® Custom Shop. This control assembly is a genuine, authentic, and brand new old stock Fender® Custom Shop part, never used, made in 2008, as part of the Fender® Custom Shop's "Custom Classic" Telecaster. It features a 4-Position Switch, which allows you to wire two single coil Tele pickups to give you both the usual parallel wiring in the combined position and the fatter higher output tone of a series combination (Fender's new S-1 does that too, but this does it without adding any extra buttons, just an extra position on the lever switch.)
