We are looking for a smaller SUV, something like a Blazer or a Explorer. Something in decent condition, not needing work. Something that my mother wouldn't be embarrassed to step foot in. (and it takes a lot to embarrass her) But if it has serious issues, we don't have the time or the money to put into it. Although, I appreciate the thought. (thank you) My mother, is looking for this vehicle to be a "extra" set of wheels, we own a small restaurant, so something we can do the shopping with. Something that my older brother can drive, who lives in Seattle, but has just recently NEEDED employment, so he is in town fives days a week, with no car. (his wife and him share one, and she needs it during the week) And since my car just recently decided it was tired of me, and is looking for a way out, good Ol' mom, is looking out for me as well. The problem is, with the economy the way it is, good ol' mom doesn't have a lot of extra money. But her heart is in the right place. She's got about $1000 to spend (and that's really scraping the bottom of the barrel) So, I was thinking, Why not try and do a trade. See if there is someone out there, with a decent extra vehicle lying around, that might be "looking to sell", but not in desperate need of the money, and wouldn't mind a couple... or a few...hundred dollars... or as much that is needed to make up the difference on something nice, in food, at a very cute, homely, family restaurant...
