Our area is very separate from yours, and not above yours. Your private area includes: Downstairs on the main level is the unfurnished (we have access to furnishings if you need them) master suite with enormous walk-in closet, with tons of built in shelving, with lovely french doors. The huge built in bookshelf could be used for lots of different things. Your own private sliding door leads to part of the deck which extends the length of the house. You also have your own private patio. So you have your own private area, with view of the entire river and Mt. Hood. That view is available all day with a wall of windows, and at night for the city lights. The bedroom has a sliding door leading to a private bathroom with two sinks, slate floor, a tiled shower big enough for two, and a separate jacuzzi tub for two. Wonderful view of the city from the tub! There are french doors leading to the toilet room which also has a sink. Another door leads from there to the living room. Shared living space: Living room with gas fireplace, dining room, kitchen... all with a huge wall of windows looking out at the river and city. The outside deck runs the full length of the house. Kitchen has great dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, stainless steel/gas oven/stove, refrig/freezer. Huge preparation space -- fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, etc. Full size washer/dryer are shared. The living room is currently empty, so if you have stuff you'd like to put there, that's ok. There is what equates to a 3 car garage of empty space available for your storage. Great if you need a place to store your stuff for a while! Parking is outside, easily room for one car, and possibly two. If you're here in the spring/summer there's an expansive area for gardening. We're located just minutes to downtown, OHSU, Hillsdale, Multnomah village, Beaverton Hillsdale highway, Sellwood bridge... really everything is only 5-10 minutes away! There are extensive walking trails in all directions, including down to the river in less than 10 minutes. There's a fun park with a playground only a few minutes walk away (at Fulton Park Community Center). I work from home all day in my basement office. My daughter and I are fun, easy going and quiet. We tend to hang out upstairs in our rooms. The downstairs is pretty much yours. Please email with any questions at all.
