For sale is an Ibanez TS7 tubescreamer modded to TS808 specs plus more. Here are the mods that have been performed: 1:) IC chip socket removed and replaced with a gold pinned IC socket and original vintage 80's JRC4558d chip installed. 2.) Input capacitor replaced with a larger value for better bass response. 3:) Clipping diodes have been removed and replaced with blue striped diodes taken from an original TS808 tubescreamer. 4:) Output resistors have been changed to 808 specs. 5:) tone control caps as well as electrolytic caps in the gain section have been replaced with higher quality panasonic caps for less noise and more warmth (12 total) 6:) Gain control's range has been increased for less gain towards zero and more towards 10 (all the same gain just more range) 7:) 3mm LED has been replaced with a superbright Violet LED This is one of the best sounding tubescreamers you could buy, plus it has a boost switch for increased gain and bass.
