Looking to house swap and looking to downsize. Here's the deal...... I live in a great neighborhood (Kentlands) in Gaithersburg, MD. Huge 4 bedroom townhouse with office and 3 1/2 baths and live over a cafe which also comes with the deal. This is over 3000 sq ft just in the townhouse. This 3000 sq ft is located above a cafe which is included in the deal and has another 2000 sq ft. I have a first and second mortgage. The tenant in the cafe pays rent for the cafe portion which is $4500/monthly andcovers the first mortgage. The cafe has a nine (9) year lease left. I pay for the second on the property which is about $2300/monthly. The property tax is not included in the mortgages so you would need to add about $1200 to your mortgage which would make your total monthly rent obligation about $3500 still not that bad for a house like this. Between the cafe and the living space above the cafe, the total sq ft is about 5000 sq ft. My bank would allow someone to assume as long as they qualify. Must see, the house is beautiful and has been nicely decorated with custom paint. What I'm looking for: A smaller townhoue, small house, or condo in the Northern VA area, Montgomery county, northwest DC. I would actually prefer to stay in Montgomery County or in my neighborhood so if you happen to have a house there, that would be great. House must be in great condition as my house is in great shape. Would also consider an investment property or beach home. I'm looking downsize and would like to swap. My teenage sons are almost out of the house and its way too big for me. I have a new job where I'm traveling so don't have time to maintain a house this big or be a landlord.. My house was in the neighborhood house tour recently. Only serious inquiries please. You must have a picture of your house for me to consider. My house is valued way over a million but its okay if your house is not. This doesn't have to be an even exchange, just someone that can meet my requirements and has a house that I like!!! Basically I take over your mortgage and you can get into my house if you take over my mortgage.
