I have a 1957 27hp. Gray Marine Gasoline Engine free for the taking, It ran fine from 1995 until 2008. Last year it would not start due to water back siphoning from the exhaust. I decided to remove it. It is rebuildable and has a new electronic ignition and water pump. The engine also has the transmission. Shes a very rugged, stable hull with a home made center console. I bought her with intentions of fixing her up but Ill be working seven days a week for a long time and will never get to it. The engine ran when I bought it but I could not prove it now. If you pop the cover it looks brand new. The trailer is real nice and worth the package price. I cant stand to see her (or any boat) sit.
