Built in 2002 this boat has all the great qualities of a large boat but, low draft so you can fish just about anywhere. Lots of space on the deck. The deck is 1 inch marine grade plywood with 2 coats of fiberglass over it and painted battleship gray. It has a 225hp Mercury outboard engine and also comes with a spare 225 mercury that needs a little tinkering but is in good condition. The center consol can be moved up about 6 feet to increase deck space as well and has just been painted black. It houses the 9hp honda hydraulic hauling system. Shes a very rugged, stable hull with a home made center console. I bought her with intentions of fixing her up but Ill be working seven days a week for a long time and will never get to it. Bell Merlin II solo canoe. Purchaced in December of 2006. Retail at the time was $1,700 but I see that the prices have increased to over $2000. The hull is Bells baseline kevlar covered with a gel coat and is 15 long. The gunwhales are lightweight aluminium. The seat is wooden and is lashed with 2\" black webbing. Total weight is around 33 pounds. The canoe has not seen a lot of use and it has been well taken care of therefore, the entire boat is in great condition. The only blemishes on the hull are some scratches but they do not penetrate or effect the gel coat. The hull has been treated twice with an spf moisturizing compound since it was purchased. The boat has mainly been stored indoors. This is an amazing boat for the solo paddler who is looking for an efficient and fast hull design but who still wants to pack it with gear and paddle for 4 days. There is no yolk on the boat but I have had great portages by resting the seat on the top of my pack! Great boat for large and small lakes or low class water (I). Bell Merlin II solo canoe. Purchaced in December of 2006. Retail at the time was $1,700 but I see that the prices have increased to over $2000. The hull is Bells baseline kevlar covered with a gel coat and is 15 long. The gunwhales are lightweight aluminium. The seat is wooden and is lashed with 2\" black webbing. Total weight is around 33 pounds. The canoe has not seen a lot of use and it has been well taken care of therefore, the entire boat is in great condition. The only blemishes on the hull are some scratches but they do not penetrate or effect the gel coat. The hull has been treated twice with an spf moisturizing compound since it was purchased. The boat has mainly been stored indoors. This is an amazing boat for the solo paddler who is looking for an efficient and fast hull design but who still wants to pack it with gear and paddle for 4 days. There is no yolk on the boat but I have had great portages by resting the seat on the top of my pack! Great boat for large and small lakes or low class water (I). Great for long weekend trips that entail any number of portages.The boat was mainly used for trips in the Adirondacks of New York. Built in 2002 this boat has all the great qualities of a large boat but, low draft so you can fish just about anywhere. Lots of space on the deck. The deck is 1 inch marine grade plywood with 2 coats of fiberglass over it and painted battleship gray. It has a 225hp Mercury outboard engine and also comes with a spare 225 mercury that needs a little tinkering but is in good condition. The center consol can be moved up about 6 feet to increase deck space as well and has just been painted black. It houses the 9hp honda hydraulic hauling system. It comes with a depth finder and a VHS radio. 40 gallon below rail fuel tank. The propeller is in great shape and the engine fires up on the first turn of the key. Only 2 summers of work on her. This is a 1994 Renken speed boat. It worked a couple years ago but has been dormant for a while. It had an electrical issue at one point with the throttle. Other wise this boat should work. I have a 82 ft section of 2-yr-old ACCO USA-made 5/16\" chain. $45 (sells new for about $300). Also a section of 60 ft slightly less used for same price $45). This chain was used as primary anchor chain on my sailboat for 2 years then retired it due to surface rust staining the white deck. This chain is still good and still strong and has many more years of service in it, but it will stain a white deck, (see closeup pics). It sells new at around $4.00 a foot these days so this is a great deal for some still-good chain. I also have a 60-ft section of the same chain for the same price - with slightly less rusting on it. This size chain would also make great dock anchoring chain or light mooring chain for jet skis or smaller boats. $45 for the 82-ft section. $45 for the 60-ft section. $75 for both!!!! Ocean PC. This is a VERY expensive custom-made Ocean PC with the Ocean PC Euro no-glare glass-front flatscreen monitor. Cost over $5000 new - about 7 years ago. Only used for about a year, then into storage. It does NOT work right now - I was told it needs a new mother board. I am NOT computer savvy, so I cannot answer a lot of questions about it, except that it has special shock-absorbing mounts, and has been moisture-proofed, was designed to withstand use in an ocean environment and was set up to take 3.5 and 5\" disks so you could run older nautical programs on it. The Monitor is worth at least the $100, so I though I would let someone who knows something about these things take it and fix it for their own use or to resell at a profit.
