SOLD, SOLD, SOLD.Heres a fine, very light, simple, and yet very reliable small 2Hp Johnson outboard motor.Its a 2-cycle motor, with built in gas tank. No need to take along a 1 gal gas tank with gas/oil mixture, unless your going out for an extended time... or want to make sure you dont run out of power (my preference).To go into reverse, you just rotate the control handle/motor all the way around, and that eliminates the need for a transmission. Also, the throttle control is right in the front, from stop, to slow, to start to fast. Again, no throttle control in handle to go bad. I have 2 other small outboards, one gas and the other electric, which is all I use anymore... so no need for this trusty little guy. This is a 1997 Xpress fully welded bass boat, with no wood construction. It is Charcoal in color with red and gray decals and grey carpet. There is a rod locker on the port side of the boat. It is a side console model. It is 17 feet long with a 50 inch bottom. This boat has a Minn Kota 36volt 101 lb thrust bow mount trolling motor. It has a top of the line four bank Dual Pro 40 amp on-board battery charger. The trailer is in good condition with one year old tires that have hardly been used. Overall the boat is in good condition. It has some dents/scrapes on the bottom from running the shallow upper potomac river, but it is solid. This boat will run in approximately 4 to 8 inches of water depending on how much weight it is carrying. I installed an adjustable pedestal with pro-style seat in the bow. The oil-fill access cap/cover on top of the motor is broken, so I taped it in place. It can be ordered through yamaha or picked up on the used market. The jet is in good shape and has a new intake on it. This boat retailed for around $12,500 when it was new and it only came with a 12 volt 36 lb trolling motor which was usesless on the Potomac river. This boat hasnt been out of my driveway since last summer as I am working two jobs and havent had the time or energy to use it. It ran fine the last time I took it out, but a test drive will probably not be available. As pictured, this boat will put you on the fish! Make me a reasonable offer.
