1995 Sea Doo GTX Clean Title I got this in the fall of 2006 and have not found time to use it yet so I am selling it. It has not been run since the summer of 2006. The previous owner told me it runs, and he had the engine replaced in 2001. I have recently tried to start it and have been unable to get it started. It cranks over fine. I checked the compression and both cylinders have good compression. It does need some work. i have for sale my boat ive been working on now for two years. time are getting tight for me so im selling. this is a 69-71 sidewinder low pro jet boat no title. i recieved this boat as a hull only it had bad mutiple layers of paint and had about 3 trash full bags of leaves.. anyways i got the stringers and middle floor all redone with fur wood and its all glass in by a professional fiberglass tech. the boat had a complete redo in paint as well as the engine compartment and stern area got re gelcoated.. i have installed new faria gauges- tach,volts,fuel,oil,temp. has teleflex steering that works. all new navigation lights as well as a new fuel fill. i have a 26 gallon fuel tank up under the deck in the bow. has all new carpet layed out. this boat by the way has not seen the water or rain since all the redoing. now to the good stuff. its got a berkeley jet drive 12JC with place diverter. i got the jet drive for $500 which was a deal and add a another $500 in a place diverter. ( thats what will make that rooster tail.) look up the pump at berkeleyjet.com and the place diveter at placediverter.com. has thru hull exhaust so the tips are there. also included is the 1310 driveline which is brand new that was $180. as well as aluminum bellhousing which bolts up to rear of the engine and to the pump. the setup all was done for a small block chevy. also the reverse and forward lever is there with the cable. as well as the foot throttle is there with its cable. has one seat which i got my mother to recover which came out pretty nice. i have the other seat but it never got recovered. also will be including a 198? shorline trailer no title either. i installed all new wiring and lights, tongue, tongue jack, wich strap, bunks, bunk carpet and brackets. one tire is new on one side but its been sittin in the garage and starting to crack the other will need to be replaced, its starting to show the wires on it. what youll need to complete the project will be an engine, a flange that will bolt your flywheel to the driveline. these are sold at danamarine.com $68.00+ shipping. now if you choose a big block it will work also but i dont know if the bell housing im including will work. also youll need an impeller they sell them on ebay for $180 or you can buy a new one for $289 from berkeleyjet .com. also i would purchase a place diveter control which cost $209 danamarine also sells them or placediverter.com. so to sum it up youll need an engine, driveline flange,impeller, and diverter control to finish.... i never though i would put so much money into a boat and not even get to the engine yet.. the boat doesnt have a title nor the trailer.. i know its not a complete boat but i have over 3500+ invested into the boat already i know i wont get it all back but make resonable offers please. thank you.. the transom plate that goes around the pump is not picture but is also included..will take resonable offers.. as well as trades+cash.. dirtbikes, quads, cars, truck, stuff of that nature.. All of these items are in good shape, but we just havent used it in about eight years. Also now have a 6 gal. fuel tank and a clamp-on hose attachment for fresh water flushing the cooling system.The honest scoop:The boat is an old Montgomery Ward \"Sea King\" with three seats. The seats are also aluminum, with styrofoam flotation inside. The rear seat has small tears at the connection to the hull; but its been that way forever & hasnt gotten worse. The stern has a self bailer plug. The transom is solid, but the wood cross piece could use a coat of paint. All in all, the hull is solid, straight and watertight. From the serial number and my memory, Im believe it was made in 1974. This is one of those \"bulletproof\" boats, not thin cheap aluminum line newer boats. Shes very seaworthy for most Chesapeake conditions.The 6hp Johnson hasnt been run since 2001, but it was a great motor then. I have no reason to believe it wouldnt start & run strong with a new plug and maybe a carb cleaning. It was run dry when put away, so there shouldnt be any serious issues. I do not believe there are any mechanical issues with it at all. The drive unit could probably use a fresh lube. The motor has forward and reverse. The shift lever was broken at one time, but has been repaired and is fine. From the serial number, Im guessing 1969 for the outboard, but it has relatively few hours for that vintage. With the right weight balance, itll get the boat up on a plane and move right along. The motor has always been garage kept.The canopy is relatively new and screws and straps onto brackets mounted on the hull. Its great for those brutal summer days to keep the sun off of you so you can cruise, swim, crab, or fish a bit longer in comfort.The whole outfit has been our family boat, and has been in our family for a couple of generations. It has been cared for; but we just havent used it in a while, so we may as well find it a good home.Theres no trailer, we usually cartopped it or loaded it onto our pop up camper. I have a spinnaker off a Pearson Triton 29 and a spinnaker off a Morgan 34. Both come with bag and the Morgan 34 comes with lines and pole. The blue and white sail was off the Pearson it measures 16 feet at the foot and 27 feet luff. $300.
