This rather large Black Cherry tree fell over in a storm last year. The base is/was alongside a small creek that undercut the roots. The tree is still rooted, hence the suckers growing out of the top. I'm going to use this as firewood unless someone with a better appreciation of the wood comes along. There are two good, relatively straight sections: one is 8-10 feet long and the other 10-12 feet long, located on either side of a former branch. The main trunk is 6 feet around, 23" diameter.
I will be happy to cut the tree into large pieces of you like and provided the ol' Ford can handle it will try to move it with my loader. Fairly good access to the tree through a pasture.
Looking for enough $$ to avoid turning this into firewood.
I'm available most afternoons/early evenings if you want to come and look at it.
