Clear alder mantels just removed from home. They both came off very clean. I even have the cove molding that goes around the inside of the mantels. The are pre-finished and ready to install, or could be sanded and stained to your desired finish. I have two of them the first measures: 55 1/2" wide x 56" tall on the inside and 71" wide x 68" tall on the outside. The second measures 58" wide x 55" tall on the inside and 73" wide x 69" tall on the outside. They are $250.00 ea O.B.O.
