I purchased this car new in 2004. I just made the last payment last month. I will miss it, but I have a dog now and I really need a hatchback or station wagon.The car has 105,000 miles on it. I had a job that took me to Cincinnati daily, so it racked up quite a lot of highway miles for a car its age, but its been pampered.It has had regular oil changes with Mobil 1 synthetic and has had Mobil 1 synthetic transmission fluid since 10,000 miles. It has almost always gotten premium unleaded. It has had all of its recalls done.Its is a 2.5liter four cylinder with 6 speed manual transmission and factory helical limited slip differential.It has the factory Brembo brake option and a sunroof. The Brembo brakes have 12\" rotors in front with aluminum 4 piston calipers, and 11\" rear rotors with iron single piston calipers. The front pads and rotors were replaces about 1 year ago and the rears about 2 month ago. These were the first brake jobs I have done on the car, so they should go another 80k miles.It has an Alpine CD/MP3 player with full controls for an Ipod.At about 50,000 miles, the original gray seats were stained (I had a dirty job) so I found a wrecked 2002 Sentra SER Spec V with 12k. I swapped the full interior, so it has the red trimmed seats and door panels of the earlier model. I also grabbed the pop-up sunroof wind deflector from the 2002 SER which is a rare piece (deleted after 2002 on the Sentra to save Nissan money) and makes the sunroof much more pleasant to use (no wind noise when its slid all the way open).The tires have more than 50% tread left on the front and more than 75% tread left on the rear. They are Kumho Ecsta ASX. They are great all season tires.The car has a scrape on one corner of the rear bumper, a slight ding on one corner of the front edge of the hood, and a couple of small door dings and scratches, but they really have to pointed out to notice them. The Nissan 2.5L engine is known for a problem with the exhaust manifold that can lead to major engine damage. I replaced the stock manifold at about 12k miles with a stainless steel header to avoid having costly engine damage pop up later on. I also replaced the exhaust shortly after that with a stainless steel Greddy exhaust from the catalytic converter back. Its not loud but it sounds nice and being stainless should outlast the rest of the car.It runs and drives like it did when it was new. Its a fun car to drive. I have a 1992 Prelude SI that runs and drives that Im parting out. This is a 2.3L, DOHC Non-Vtec, 5spd.As you see in the pics it has some damage. Drivers fender is shot, hood has creases, and passenger side amber lenses are cracked, thats it. All suspension and rest of the car is straight. Front bumper is great. This car is 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix SE, with a 3.1, V6. It has 209K miles. Ive been driving this car for months and it ran great until the day after I decided not to sell this car for $900. I had an offer and didnt take it, because I loved this car so much. It has minor cosmetic damage(scratches here and there, no big dents and no rust anywhere), the windows are a little screwed up(you put the driver and passanger windows up or down with your hands), but this car has a brand new exhaust and a new battery. The transmission is fine and I actually enjoyed driving this car. The AC, Cruise Control AM/FM radio, lights, turn signals and everything else works. I drove the car home smoking last week, but it does still start and will drive down the street, its just that driving it at this point could only screw it up more.. The reason I havent driven it anymore since then is because it could just be the headgasket, which a home mechanic can do for less than a $100 cash and their work. All of the symptoms point to that, but as you might know with headgaskets, it could be additional things. I can tell you this though, theres no knocks or weird noises. I started the car yesterday to listen to the engine.Why so cheap?
