I promised my son a big screen and we went to get one that was really cheap yesterday and it ended up being a little more messed up than we expected so we were both very disappointed...if anyone has one in their basement or one that you dont need anymore because you upgraded to hd or flatscreen, i would love to hear about it. i cant afford much since i recently got laid off and im a single mom. the one we were going to get was only 25 dollars with the convergence going out on it but like i said it ended up not being usable really. i have a truck and friends willing to help me so you wouldnt have to worry about that. I know its not a necessity but its a very exciting thing for a young child to be able to play his games and watch his movies on a big tv and enjoy mom and son time in the living room together with. his birthday is the 19th and i really would like to have one by then. thanks.I could also trade, i have a very nice antique 2 piece dresser worth about 250 to 300, a portable dvd player, 19 tv, i would probably give you the bed i sleep in if i had to make this happen for him. he told me its ok that we would find one but i just feel bad since i promised.
