There are 4 bright pink sapphires on each side of the center stone. I also have the 8 diamonds that were originally in it. The whole ring is over 2 carats total weight. Even more if you were to have the saphires replaced with the original diamonds. Was originally 3 bands but I had them saudered together. It is a size 7 1/4 and is set in 14K yellow gold. Thats why I call it a classic timeless piece because it really is. My father in law was stationed in Germany when they married so I will assume it was bought there but I am not really for sure.The last appraisal was done in the 90s and at that time it was at 4100.00, we all know since then how much gold and diamonds have went up. So I am really not for sure what it would be at now.I am selling it for such a cheap cheap price I didnt bother to hunt for all of that. Why am I selling, well I have a family emergency and the money is needed to take care of that.. I need that matter taken care of more than I need an engagement ring. Currently it is approx. a size 6, but that can be changed. I couldnt get a good pic of the ring, so I went to Zales website and found a ring that is representative of this ring. IT IS NOT IDENTICAL TO MY RING!! The major difference that I see is the pic only has 2 rows of diamond accents and my ring has 4 and the pic shows 4 baguettes and my ring only has 2. Otherwise, the rings look the same. If you want to compare the ring on Zales website, it is under engagement rings, diamonds with side accents, select rings over $1500 and it is item #16930802.
